SHIPPING

 

We ship primarily with USPS with occasional use of UPS or FED EX.  If you wish to have your order expedited then you can opt for the higher shipping rate.  Your products should be shipped within 3-5 days after your payment has been received.  When your order ships you should receive a tracking number via email.  In stock Items will ship within 3-5 days after we receive your order.  Things that are out of stock may take longer.  Our average shipping time is 3-5 days.  You should receive your items within 2 weeks of ordering in the continental USA.  APO’s, Alaska and Hawaii please allow additional time as required, as well as for overseas shipping and outside the continental USA may take a little longer.  If you do not have your item by then please contact us at customer.service@teamtimeteas.com or call us at 540-905-5889.

When purchasing teacups, teapots or other delicate items, we are very careful in our packing process but sometimes things happen beyond our control and there are broken items.  Of course, we will replace anything that does not arrive in good condition but this takes time. When purchasing delicate items we recommend that you pay the extra price for insurance on your shipment. We cover the replacement cost if it was because of our packing, but if the packaging was damaged by the shipping company we do not.

Orders received by 5 PM Eastern Daylight Time will normally ship the next business day. 
If your order is time sensitive please give us a call or send us an email once your order is placed.
Hawaii and Alaska orders will ship by USPS Priority Mail. Please allow 6 - 7 days.
International Orders will ship by USPS Priority Mail. Please allow 9 - 15 days.

UPS Ground, 3 Day Select, 2nd Day and Overnight (48 Contiguous States):
1. To calculate the time your order will take to reach you, find your home on the map.
2. Use the color located on the lower right side of the map to determine the number of days in transit.
3. The number of days in transit does not include the day you place your order, the day your order ships, the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) or the UPS holidays shown below.

Memorial Day - May 27, 2013
Independence Day  - July 4, 2012
Labor Day - September 3, 2012
Thanksgiving Day - November 22, 2012
Day after Thanksgiving - November 23, 2012
Christmas Day - December 25, 2012
New Year's Eve - December 31, 2012
New Year's Day - January 1, 2013

Examples for UPS Ground Shipments:
Find Utah on the map.
According to the color chart, the time in transit is 5 business days.
Assuming you place your order on a Monday.
Not counting Monday the day you place your order and Tuesday the day that it ships, 5 days later means your order will arrive on Tuesday.

Find Maine on the map.
According to the color chart, the time in transit is 2 or 3 business days depending on location.
Assuming you place your order on a Monday.
Not counting Monday the day you place the order and Tuesday the day that it ships, 2 to 3 days later means your order will arrive the following Thursday or Friday.

Examples of UPS 3 Day select, 2nd Day Air and Overnight Shipments:
A 2 Day Air package ordered on Monday and shipped on Tuesday will arrive anywhere in the US on Thursday.
A 2 Day Air package ordered on Wednesday and shipped on Thursday will not arrive until Monday.

A 3 Day Select package ordered on Monday and shipped on Tuesday will arrive on Friday.
A 3 Day Select package ordered on Wednesday and shipped on Thursday will not arrive until Tuesday.

An Overnight package ordered on Monday and shipped on Tuesday will arrive on Wednesday.
An Overnight package ordered on Thursday and shipped on Friday will not arrive until Monday.

Don't forget to add an extra day to the examples if the time in transit includes a UPS holiday.

Weather Delays and Exceptions:
Please make sure the shipping address is correct when you fill out the order form.
UPS charges a $10.00 service fee for any address corrections once the package ships.
Making sure the address is correct will eliminate a delay in the delivery and the service fee.

The UPS delivery time frames do not apply when transportation networks are affected by weather.
UPS will email the tracking number when your order ships.
UPS will send another email should your package be delayed due to weather conditions.
UPS will also send an email if they have trouble delivering because of an incorrect shipping address.
